1. Application
These terms apply to all services we provide, including residential, commercial, and industrial building washing. When you use our services, you’re agreeing to these terms. ‘Spray and Wash’, ‘Spray and Wash Solutions’, and ‘Spik n Span’ are just different names for us, Leddra Enterprises Ltd.
2. Quotes
These terms apply to any quotes we provide. If there are changes to the quantities, specifications, or anything else after our quote, we’ll charge you for those separately.
3. Authorisation
We don’t need to check the authority of anyone placing an order on your behalf, but it’s your responsibility to ensure all necessary permissions, like licenses or consents, are in place.
4. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Follow all instructions provided by us regarding preparation, safety, and aftercare.
- Inform us in advance of any sensitive or high-risk areas such as electrical components, venting, or locations prone to leaks, ensuring these areas are highlighted for extra care or exclusion.
- Ensure all pets are secured indoors or removed from the property for the duration of the wash.
- Provide unobstructed access to the property to the extent required to complete the wash.
- Remove obstacles such as bins, outdoor furniture, or pallets from exterior walls to provide full access for washing.
- Provide us with a water supply at no cost.
No liability will be accepted for any losses incurred by you if you don’t comply with these terms.
5. Our Liability
We’ll take care when doing our job, but if something goes wrong, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the service. We won’t be responsible for any damage:
- To surfaces that are old, degraded, or delicate in nature.
- Caused by water ingress into non-watertight areas, including electrical systems or interior spaces.
- Or residues on oxidized, sun-damaged, or previously eroded materials.
- To landscaping, foliage, or gardens near the work area.
All claims must be submitted in writing within three (3) months of service completion. Any liability is limited to the total value of the services provided.
6. Your Indemnity
You’ll cover us for any damage, loss, or costs that happen because of your actions or failure to follow these terms.
7. Price
Unless stated otherwise, all quotes are excluding GST.
8. Payment
- Full payment is required within three (3) days of invoicing unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Deposits, when applicable, are non-refundable.
- Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of services and may incur late fees or debt recovery costs.
- Payment of any amounts owed to us must be free of any counterclaim, set-off, deduction, or any other claim whatsoever.
9. Termination
If you don’t stick to the terms, we can suspend or cancel our service. We may also charge interest on overdue payments and pass on the cost of debt recovery.
10. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
If these services are for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act doesn’t apply.
11. Warranties
We don’t provide any warranties beyond what’s required by law.
12. Privacy
We may use your information for things like quotes, marketing, quality assurance, and debt collection. You give us permission to take photographs or videos of the property. If you don’t want us to use your property images in our marketing, let us know.
13. Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007
By working with us, you’re agreeing to receive marketing messages unless you opt out.
14. Services
We’ll do our best to complete the work as scheduled, but we may postpone or cancel if conditions aren’t right. This can include us canceling or postponing all or part of the service if any of our team has any concerns about the safety of the job.
15. Health and Safety
We both agree to follow the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 during the service.
16. General
- We may amend these terms over time, and any changes will apply to future services.
- If any part of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, that part shall be severed from and shall not affect the remaining provisions of these terms.
- You agree that these terms and any estimate or quote we provide to you constitute the entire understanding between us.
17. Disputes
If you’re unhappy with the work, let us know within 3 days. We’ll work to fix it, but you’re still responsible for the full payment unless otherwise agreed.
18. Cancellations/Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. A fee may apply if you cancel within 24 hours.
19. Delivery and Return
If we can’t deliver a service due to circumstances beyond our control, we may cancel or delay the service without liability.
20. Miscellaneous
These terms may change, and you’ll be bound by the terms in place at the time of the service.
Wash-Day Instructions
For the best results, please follow these steps:
- Note that you do not need to be at the property during the works.
- Ensure that any gates are left unlocked so we can access the property.
- All windows and doors are tightly shut.
- All pets are kept indoors or removed from the property for the duration of the wash.
- All clothes are brought in from the washing line.
- Remove all objects around the property prior to our arrival. If there are objects too heavy to move then we will do our best to clean around them. However, a 100% quality finish may not be guaranteed.
- Remove any items that could be damaged by water.
- Ensure that we have access to a local tap supply.
Where possible, we will get before and after pictures of the work and attach them with the invoice at the completion of the work.
We will do our best to wash around any foliage or landscaping, however, this may impact our ability to wash those areas properly.
No building is completely watertight; it is expected that some small amounts of water may find their way inside during the wash. Please take appropriate precautions.
Please be aware that while our pressure wash and scrubbing methods are highly effective for general cleaning, certain types of marks may not be completely removable. These can include insect stains, hard water stains, adhesive residues, previous cleaning damage, paint specks, tree sap, bird droppings, grease and oil marks, and construction residue.
Our standard house wash service does not include a bladed finish on the windows; some spots or streaks are to be expected.
There can be residue deposited on the house from cleaning gutters, decks, paving, or driveways. We will rinse this off as well as we can but will not wash the house unless this is part of the quoted work.
